June 6 16, 2012Peter Pan embodies action-adventure. His story is the timeless tale of a mythical boy who refuses to grow up. 2012 marks 110 years since Pan made his first appearance in the novel, “The Little White Bird.”
Subsequently, numerous adaptations of the flying boy from Neverland have taken shape, including Disney's animated 1953 film; Robin Williams' 1991 big-screen version, Hook; and the 2003 Columbia Pictures, Peter Pan to name a few.
This show is based on the 1954 musical, which has seen several Broadway revivals and won three Tony Awards. Peter Pan was one of the first true superheroes; whether he’s leading "The Lost Boys," interacting with fairies, mermaids, Indians and pirates, or facing off with his nemesis, the evil Captain Hook, Peter Pan is a classic for children of all ages.
