Wagon Wheel Jr.
In 2012, the Wagon Wheel Theatre launches a new program for kids, Wagon Wheel Jr. This is your child’s chance to perform on the legendary Wagon Wheel Theatre stage. Wagon Wheel Jr. aims to enhance the development of youth in the theatre arts throughout the Warsaw Community. Participants will learn to create, build, and perform in a quality theatrical experience while working with a professional production staff. We plan on producing four kids shows per year, two in the late winter and spring, and two in late summer and fall.
Led by Danielle Roberston and Andy Robinson, students will learn techniques in acting, movement, and voice that will give them confidence, develop motor skills, and teach them the excitement of being part of a live theatrical production. Over the course of 5 days, we will give the students a fully-realized performance of a play for family and friends at the culmination of the camp. Click here to learn more.
Now in its eighth year of producing the highest quality student productions on our very own Wagon Wheel stage, the camp that brought to life such amazing shows as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bye Bye Birdie, Once on this Island, and last year’s hit How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is back with another spectacular show. Aimed at giving students the experience of professional theatre-making, this nine-day, fast-paced experience will bring students from rehearsal to curtain in a little more than a week.
